Liturgy of the Word for Children

Meeting time: Planning meetings – arranged by coordinator

Commitment: 1 year

Admission: training sessions

Needs: Adult and youth assistants who are comfortable proclaiming the word of God and sharing their faith with children.

This ministry helps children better understand the Sunday readings by dismissing them after the Opening Prayer to hear and reflect on the Word. Takes place during the 8:30 a.m. mass on Sundays – Proclaimers and leaders assist as assigned.
