Bereavement Committee

Meeting Time: as needed

Commitment: individual preference

Admission: The Bereavement Committee has four parts:

1. A group of persons who pray at the vigil service on the day before a funeral.
2. The musicians who provide singing for the funeral liturgies.
3. Several groups of persons who prepare and serve lunches to families after the funeral Mass and cemetery service.
4. Follow-up concern for the bereaved.

 

This ministry provides support for those dealing with the death of loved one.
